These helmet covers are good for keeping you dry in wet weather (I had rain on 12 of 19 days while riding from Indianapolis to New Hampshire & used mine often) or warmer in cold weather by blocking the air flow through the helmet vents. These helmet covers from Jackson & Gibbons are made in Oregon. The regular size fits most helmets. The large size is for teardrop-shaped helmets or helmets with visors. Each helmet cover has a reflective strip on the front & back for better visibility. The back reflective strip is also a hang tab for a blinking light.

I recommend helmet covers rather than hoods on jackets. I have found that I get too hot while riding with a rain jacket & hood. Helmet covers keep most of the rain off my head but allows enough air underneath to keep my head cool.
