If you need to package your bicycle for shipment or to take it on an airline, train or other form of public transportation, we offer you 4 options:

We'll give you a cardboard box (previously used - one in which a bicycle was shipped to us by a manufacturer) & you can pack it up yourself. Cost - free!
Leave it with us, and we'll pack it in the box (loosen & turn handlebars around, remove pedals). Cost - $25
Rent our Serfas hard case (see below) and pack your bicycle in it. The people I know have reported no damage to their bicycles when shipped in cardboard boxes, but I would feel a lot better about turning my bicycle over to an airline when it was inside something a lot more rigid. Cost - $50
If you do a lot of traveling with your bicycle, it's probably a good investment to purchase a Serfas hard case. Cost - $299
